Kindness Unlimited advocates for Kindness as a life skill since 2005. We are currently working with the Kathkari tribe in Maharashtra on malnourishment and sustainable livelihood. All contributions made will be utilized to  plant 40,000 fruit trees in the area to ensure year long sustainable nutrition supply along with additional source of Livelihood. Please do support us in the mission.

Kindness Unlimited is an NGO formed in 2005 with its registered address in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra dedicated to spread the joy of receiving and giving Kindness.

Under the current backdrop of COVID-19 crisis, the need for interventions in the area of nutrition and education has been highlighted across various states and regions. Most of the community-based organisations have reported lack of resources to support the ongoing programmes. This opens up an avenue for Kindness Unlimited to intervene in the space by engaging the community-based organisation to create sustainable models for supporting the programmes undertaken in their respective communities. With the understanding of sustainability and a need to create a cultural shift and not just limited to immediate crisis response, KU has decided to follow a systematic approach with a global benchmark. Kindness Unlimited has studied the UN Sustainable goals and created a team of youth leaders from diverse academic and philosophical spaces with an impetus on action-oriented approach to develop, study, and create interventions in the identified areas with local community -based partners. Following are the list of UN Sustainable goals that KU wants to achieve through the implementation of Project Nashta and Project Plant Kindness Programmes:

SDG - 2 - Zero Hunger

SDG – 3 – Good Health and Wellbeing

SDG – 4 - Quality Education

SDG – 5 – Gender Equality

SDG - 15 - Life on Land

SDG -16 – Peace, justice and strong institutions

We believe that the balance has to be found within the community that empowers them to promote, educate and uplift themselves in the next few years. The nutrition meals that we aim to provide in the various locations identified under this project is culturally contextual to the area. We do not intend to introduce a new food into the already existing food chain preferred by the children of the region. The Fruit trees planted under Project Plant Kindness will enable sustainable supply of nutrition and also generate additional livelihood opportunity.
